Default ESCORT COSWORTH DUMP VALVE

I WAS JUST WONDERING I WAS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE DUMP VALVE ON MY ESC COS AND WITH THE HELP OF SOME OF U GUYS WE WORKED OUT I NEED A TWIN DUMP VALVE BUT IVE GOT 2 SINGLE DUMP VALVES AND I WAS WONDERING WOULD THE 2 OF THEM FITTED WORK THE SAME AS A TWIN BUT SOUND BETTER ?ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

hello gerry,

yes I've helped you with the problem. having two dv is not the same as having double piston dv. there is a difference between a normal dv and one with a piston inside. for your escos you don't need a normal dv and also not a piston dv. you need a double piston dv. this means there are two pistons inside one dv. because your escos has a sensor which messures the air volume. on idle a dv is open so the engine sucks false air through a normal and a single piston dv. this is why you need a double piston dv.
