as any one noticed a pinking sound on there engine when , car is on full throttle when turbo is coming in,doesnt happen as much when on shell optimax,car has scorpion full exhaust,kn induction filter,big turbo,dump valve,but is running a standard chip running 0.5 boost.i was thinking of getting the car chipped stage 1,was wondering ifthis would cure it,any help would be appreciated

what boost could it run safely

 

standard chip can run 10 psi with a few tweeks.

i take it yours is running 0.5 bar which is roughly standard boost anyway??

 

yer its standard boost,,its booked in to be superchipped,stage 1,with a -31actuator
will this alter the boost,whats 10 psi in bar terms
