Can I use the engine loom and ecu off a 95 escort 1.8 si in my xr3 ? If so has anyone got a wiring diagram to help me out

 

if it does not have PATS then yes

 

1995 loom will no doubt have pats on it
at the ecu end of the loom before the big rubber grommet (inside the car) if there is an extra round pin connector thats the pats connector to the receiver ring and fuse box
the easy way is to get an ecu and loom of a pre 1994 model which does not have pats
although saying that there is a conversion to move the ecu pins about and plug a non pats ecu in
