Default s2,automatic choke sticking on help please!!!

as above is there anyway i can disconnect the automatic choke on my s2 it keeps stayin on,then for a split second its as if its going to shut off and then picks back up and idles at just under 2k rpm.i dont even know which plug it would that associated with it

choke? do you mean cold start valve? If so then its the blue plug I think on back of manifold right in middle. If you follow fuel line from metering unit to manifold you will find it hope this helps

thats the one mate,cheers top man,so unpluggin this shud drop the revs from cold?

mines was unplugged for some reason and it stayed at normal revs mate

rick, most people just unplug the cold start anyway as they are useless and cause problems with starting

cheers milesy,ive never had any trouble b4 with all my other rs turbos lol,
it starts first flick of the key and then idles at about 1k rpm ,then after a few seconds it rises to around 2k rpm, and stays at those revs, and sometimes its as if it is about to shut off and then comes back on again lol

If you take the valve off, then freeze overnight in the freezer then take out and drop into some boiling water this often springs them back into life, what I did to my 4i one worked perfect after that.
