idle air tick over

help my escort 1.8 si is ticking over at 1.500 rpm since fitting a new idle air tick over valve how do i cure this problem.

no need for such big letters buddy ,did you fit a new iscv gasket and did you reset the ecu ?

As said sounds like a possible air leak, that is if the new ISCV is a known good working unit and is not stuck as they commonly do.
