Brakes on cosworth

Hi I have a little problem on my sapphire cosworth with the brakes and when you come to stop its if the brake pedal pulses and then finally stops but someone told me it could be ABS sensors playing up

More than likely that will be the case usually cleaning them does the trick, also if the system has air in it can cause problems.

I have just been told it could be the abs pump and how do I tell if this is on the way out

Does it do it at very slow speed? As my old white one used to do it as 5 -10 mph and it was down to the abs sensors

Also, there are teeth on the cv joint that the ABS sensor reads off of, if there are full of shit then it could cause an issue, when you clean the sensor, remember to look in the hole it came out of. Good luck getting the sensors off without breaking them, be patient and use lots of penetrating oil/WD40.
