Default mk4 efi escort dash clocks not working

Right now the cars running have a few niggly bits left to sort with the loom i fitted, the dash clocks dont seem to be registering anything on the rev counter, temp gauge or fuel gauge?! All sender wires have contunity to the multi plug on the back and the earths on the plugs seem ok, the lights also come on ok on the dash so the only thing i was wondering is does the dash have 12v power going to it to make the gauges work?! Or did the efi cab have a different dash to the mfi's as it was originally an mfi cabby!

Cheers

how are they different, the connectors look the same? already bought a second set of clocks which are diffrerent to the original mfi clocks, the fuel and temp gauges are opposite way round to the original clocks.

does anyone have a pic of efi clocks?

the efi fuel gauge recieved a different kind of voltage to the mfi. The efi recieves a pulsed volt rather than a constant volt....

Also the rev counter is different....

Might look the same on outside but the internals are different....

for a pic, look at my ebay listing.....
