Default 2wd saff crank pulley?

my crank pulley has got a seriously damaged pickup lug for the tdc sensor (most of it is missing)

i'm having problems getting my car running could this be the fault? or would it just run on 3 cylinders with just 3 lugs?

cheers

It depends HOW damaged, it is unlikely to make it run on three.
You coulkd just take the pulley off and get the lugs machined down to equal depth/protrusion, the reposition the sensor ?

If that is the case, it needs a new trigger wheel, about £5, available from TRIGGERWHEELS.COM, you will have to ACCURATELY have this put on, but it is only a simple machining job, once pulley is off.
If you cannot get a 90degree's disc, just get any and cut out uneeeded ones, so you end up with four lugs 90degrees apart.
Alternatively this would be easy for a light machine shop to make, and most likely cheaper than a new/s/h one ?

It MUST have been seriously shagged to do that as they will pick up out if range by a hell of a long way.
Glad you got it running ok again.
