Im curious what could cause this, at about 3k i get a flat spot til about 3700 rpm, wondering what fixes/suggestions there could be for this. Its a 2.0 silvertop by the way.
trust me a map would get rid of it; a friend had a 328i bmw with a flat spot; got it mapped and it was gone and plus it will give you a smother motor and be better on fuel
map are always worthwhile for standard and modified cars imo
Well get a RS1800 inlet and a megasquirt. You should see around 150 bhp as that is all the inlet will flow NA.
You will never get it running properly mixing and matching parts like you have.
i did and mine was, as tabetha said it sounds like a maf problem. im not 100% that you can clean them as such. but change it to a known working one. are you using the 2l MAF and TB?
