whats wrong with my brakes??
 
hi people.
i have just recently upgraded my disks,pads and changed the fluid to dot 5.1 on my orion. I now discover that if i push the brake pedal slowly it will go all the way to the floor and them bit allitle bit but then if i bake sharp it works fine??? could it just be air in the system or could it be my sevo?
any ideas??

I think it is an ORION, as it says so, your as bad as me!!
Sounds like the m'cyl seals may be weak.

I wud say there is air in the system if u pump the brake pedal a few times does the pedal go hard. Then push the pedal again n if it goes 2 the floor i wud of said it has air in the system.

yer thats pretty much exactly what it dose,it dose it most when say im comming upto a junction or summin and i press it lightly it will just sink to the floor so i will have to take my foot off it and press it hard n then it will work. i gunna bleed them again tonight,do you know if there are any other bleed nipples other than the ones on the calipers?

will be air in the system mate, make sure you hold the pedal down then do the bleed nipple up , id give it a few goes with a bleeder, hth, cheers mark. :top:
