I have a Sapphire 2000E which I am now wanting to convert to a RWD cosworth.

Please can someone make me a list of items/parts that I will need

i.e Ream beam, diff, Wiring loon etc etc

BASIC,
ENGINE, GEARBOX/BELL HOUSING, , DIFF/SHAFTS BRAKES(F&R) WHEELS, ECU + LOOM, INTERIOR, BODYKIT, INTERCOOLER/RAD/PIPES.
There is no doubt masses left out, just find out as you go along!!

best bet would be to sell 2000E and buy a 2 w/d Cossie

 

With my small budget I could only afford a rotted/smokey/jank cossie!!!

I now have a BIG list of parts needed but does anyone know if i need to change:-

Fuel pump
Engine mounts
Rad Fans
Clutch/hande brake/speedo cable/s
Pedals
power steering rack

fuel pump yes, also I think the tank may be diferent on the 2000E, rack no, pedals no, mounts probably as I think the arms are different, handbrake no speedo no clutch cable quite possibly, rad fans and rad yes think so

 

speedo will also need to change as cable is different and the speedo head DOESN'T go to 170mph in a 2000E,wiring looms,doing away with master brake cylinder! will add as I remember but there WILL be loads of other things m8.

 

If you want it to look cossie the speedo as said will need changing, but turn/clock ratio the same so will fit to old 2000e clocks and work accurately.
