blue colour on bolts
what is the purpose of colouring/painting certain bolst blue like, these are they HIGH TENSILE or is it a threadlock of some sort, all the flywheel and clutch bolts are the same too. If its a threadlock do ford sell it
used to make these bolt were I worked, ford have different colours to identify different grades of bolts, so if someone uses a wrong bolt it is easily noticed, I think the blue was 12.9 grade but not 100% certain, I think it has this info in the cosworth workshop manual in the front.
It is defo not thread lock at all.
It is as said a COLOUR MARKER for PRODUCTION LINES, so the wrong bolts are not installed and it makes it easier to quickly find right ones(colour).
Does not indicate tensile strength other than certain strength ones are used in certain places.

The blue ones i can think of, off the top of my head:
Front inner TCA bolts, rear gearbox mount bolts, front engine mount bolts, rear drum backplate to hub bolts, there may be a couple of others but thats about it
