Low comp pistons 2wd saph
What would the compression ratio be if I fitted 4wd pistons into a 2wd botton end.
I have just spent a fortune getting my bottom end lightened polished balanced cleanned. my 205 has had liners fitted and I have .25+ forged 4wd pistons to go in. A guy I spoke to said fitting 4wd pistons into a 2wd bottom end will lower the compression slightly??? is this true. I want to get the tops of my pistons machined down anyway so what compression ratio is the norm. I have a t35 stage 3 turbo if this helps with the awnser.

bttt cos im running the same spec including turbo on my 3dr (apart from being 1mm oversized) and also am curious to the answer...saves me having to work it out for my self as well lol

I was told 4x4 pistons and 2wd head lower to 7.8:1, but I had to have 0.008" off block to get flat so have after advice had 0.020" off pistons to ensure no valve contact. I cannot imagine slight overbore lowering this by much.
