Roush 500hp Mk3 FRS at Sema
Has the look the car should have had when introduced
Roush Performance has taken the wraps off their impressive Ford Focus RS at 2016 SEMA. With its 500 hp lurking under the hood, this is most likely one of the most powerful Focus RS you can find on the streets.
The tuning house outfitted the car’s 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine with custom enhanced cooling system and Ford Performance shortblock as well as a Roush ECU Remapping. As a result of the added punch, the Focus RS now delivers an impressive 500 horsepower, transforming this hot hatch into a true street/race car. A Roush TrakPak 3-way adjustable suspension keeps the RS in line with all this additional power. Keeping the car stuck to the ground are new shiny Roush TrakPak light-weight weld forged 19-inch wheels shod with Continental ExtremeContact Sport (255/35/R19) tires.
Front and side splitters, diffuser, rear wing, custom graphic stripes, hood heat extractors, ambient grille lighting, front tow hook, and custom painted side rear view mirror caps gives the car the ultimate race car look.
The interior remains practically unchanged, and the tuning firm only installed Roush Performance black shifter ball and performance pedals.

Definitely looks much better. Saw a standard white one in a car park last week and actually walked past before I realised what it was. Just too subtle for my liking,I grew up in the 80s and it was all the mk2 rs2000's,cosworths with big ass spoilers and Rs turbos that turned me into a ford nut in the 1st place.
I'm with Glenn. Would much rather have a mustang

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Now that I like a lot
Mustang was the disappointment of the year for me. On paper and in the pictures I really wanted one but in the flesh it didn't live up to it..

That Mk3 RS looks a lot nicer now I see the photos big on the computer, didn't look anything on my phone
One thing is for sure, Americans value modified stuff so much more than we do. And I'm sure they have a bigger following.
E.g. Focus or Fiesta Cosworth just doesn't seem to be worth the 20, 30, 40k that people end up spending. Just got to look at the shows on Discovery to see how much money they can make on their cars!
