Default For sale Turbo Zetec project Rs rep

Spring is here so it’s time for the annual cull and spring clean. Out with the old projects and in with the new.

For sale is my Zetec turbo project. £1800 and I am Not looking for offers.

The price I am looking for is bassed on the amount of good quality genuine Focus Rs parts and NOT the engine being anything other than a clean used 2.0 Zetec.

This should be running around the 220bhp of the standard Rs. I wouldn’t try for more on these pistons and rods.

This is fully plumbed and running. It gets upto temp. The fan cuts in and out as it should and you can watch it run for as long as there is petrol in it. I had it running for around an hour today before I got bored.

Engine,

Clean used Zetec and was told around 89k and was still on the original cambelt, just.

This would be considered as a decompression plate build. But instead of a decompression plate it has a thicker head gasket to drop the compression ratio just a touch.

This was fitted with new head bolts while fitting stronger St170 valve springs to the inlet only and a new cam belt.

Spanking brand new sump, drilled and taped to take an an10 oil return for the turbo.

Spanking brand new block breather and pcv valve.

Block drilled and tapped an8 for breather drain.

Cleaned and painted.

Inlet, full focus Rs. All genuine gaskets, brackets ect

Exhaust manifold, Cat ect full Rs.

Focus Rs Gt25 Turbo, was sold as a recent refurb by Cr turbos by Leigh of Rs breakers. I did get a copy of the receipt but it is iledgible due to data protection ect but it is tidy like you would expect.

Turbo is cooled via a genuine Focus Rs sandwich plate in a1 condition. Oil feed is genuine Rs. Oil drain is custom an10.

Genuine Focus Rs charge cooler and boost pipes ect.

Ecu is genuine Focus Rs with one key. A custom engine loom for the stand.
A set of genuine Rs sensors except an o2 sensor that is not genuine.

Focus Rs dash pod with around 62k all working.

The stand, it’s not a work of art it’s just bits of scrap welded together. The fuel pump is a cheapo eBay Bosch copy and is NOT suitable to be used under boost on a car. As you can see there is a fair few quids worth of silicone hoses. A good and fairly new battery. Exhaust system that has no other use than for the stand. Still it kept the neighbors happy.

St170 Getrag 6 speed gearbox, flywheel, clutch that will need upgrading. It’s used on the stand as it was going back in an St170 to be used as a track car.

Alternator and belt system with AC and power steering delete.

Parts to come with it. New braided oil feed line and genuine exhaust gaskets. Around £100 worth.
Focus Rs charge cooler radiator.
Focus Rs air filter bracket.
Focus Rs map sensor bracket.

Used Superchips bluefin handset.

Unknown Rs exhaust flexi pipe.

Genuine Focus Rs engine wiring loom.

St170 engine wiring loom that is easy to rework for the Rs.

General Focus fuse box loom.

Focus mtx75 not an Rs.

And a box of yet unknown Focus Zetec parts.

Any questions please ask.
But in advance, collection only from near Spalding Lincs.it won’t go in the back of your family hatch back and has around £60 worth of fluids in it. With all the spares there is going to be somthing like 300kg to get home.

Cash is king and you can stand and watch it for as long as you like but I offer no guarantees but you are welcome to stay in touch to ask anything about the wiring ect.

Any interest before I start pulling it to bits over the bank holiday ?

If this engine isn't special enough to carry the Rs bits I will return it to the td04 and remove the clocks, Rs breather setup and other parts ect and will revise the price to a grand.
