Just watching Carry on Cabby and was wondering if any of the Cortinas used by 'Glamcabs' are still on the road
Found a pic of one of the prototypes that had a similar reg number, so the Carry On ones must have been really early ones
The Prototype was reg no OWC 157 and all the Carry on Cabby ones were in the range OWC 160 to OWC 170+, so I reckon Ford must have slung them a few as a bit of early product placement
They might be in a storage shed somewhere! Or more likely they went to the scrapyard in the sky many moons ago. It would be an ace find if you could fine them though!
