That's tasty, I'm thinking with changing my daily for something more sensible like a BMW 3 series wagon (diesel) instead of the C63.
I did want a C63 but once the novelty wore off I know I'd regret the running costs.
Don't get me wrong I never buy cars for what MPG they get but with this I've got 300+BHP standard, all the luxuries, dog can climb in the boot & it still does more to the gallon then my new 1.6 connect did AND it's cheaper to tax!!! Where's the logic!
Same colour and near same spec as the one I had, they go well in sport mode. The power meters are good too to show the torque and bhp you are using.
I had the big motorsport brake upgrade and that was impressive (blue calipers if factory fitted at build or red if added after) The M performance kit I had was new ECU and intercooler but it was big bux (previous owner fitted) I think I would use someone like Evolve if doing myself and not within BMW warranty.
Keep an eye on the wheels, mine were refurbished when I got it under BMW approved used, within 1 yr the lacquer was lifting around the centre. It is a common problem on these Diamond cut wheels. I claimed on the warranty and they declined but the dealer agreed to put their hand in their pocket and paid for 3 as long as I paid for 1 which seemed fair.
You can only refurb them a certain amount of times in diamond cut so I would consider a powder finish if you need to refurb.
Mine had a cool electric tow bar and if you ever want to tow you can retro fit them and quarry motors sometimes have them, I used it for a bike rack.
380bhp and 600lbft of torque will certainly shift. its amazing the amount of power you get from standard engines , especially diesels, nowadays. my next car will be a c63 but even a 2008/9 is still a bit out of my price range just now, maybe in 2 or 3 years.....
