Not quite standard tho, t34.48, dark greens, airtec intercooler, 4 pot APs front, 300mm rear brakes etc, so nothing ground-breaking but it goes well enough lol.
I just wanted it to look as standard as possible under the bonnet
You have made some good mods, especially the brakes which are so much better than the standard ones. Paintwork looks very good , is it original or a re-paint?
My Saff has a different engine bay which some people dont like but its old school and suits me.
My 2wd which I have owned for over 22 years.
Lots of mods.
Goes well with 450bhp.
Original paint apart from bumpers, no rust and passed 22 MOTs with no advisories!

Lovely that mate 😎
Can't beat a white sapph imo, I used to have one myself before the 3dr, which was written off by someone driving into the back of it unfortunately, I actually bought the 3dr to transplant the running gear into but changed my mind and sold it all, I'm the 4th owner of my 3dr, every mot, original engine etc, I thought it was too good history to start messing with it really.
It has been painted, I bought it at the end of 2012 and had a few bits done in 2015
This was my sapph, t4, 8 injectors etc, old skool touring car spec basically, straight cut dog box, adjustable rear beam etc, I loved that car lol
Karl3door I think I have seen the photos of your Saff before, it was a lovely looking car and would have gone well with the set-up you had. You must have been so gutted when it got written off! Someone else got themselves some tasty parts to live another day!
Some random Fords from the last month of motorsport. Something old, something newer and a seriously nice engine at the British Rallycross Championship at Lydden...
...and an array of the latest Ford rallycross machinery at the World Rallycross Championship in France:
Some tasty looking cars! The BMW was raced in Australia by Jim Richards and Frank Gardener in the Hardie Ferodo 1000 Bathurst race. Next to the RS500 is one of the racing Mondeos. Where were the photos taken?
