It is but there is probably twice as much going on as compared to a cosworth loom for example 😀

Not just yet, we are just waiting for the last few bits on the loom what should be done on Monday. .
As soon as we get the loom I can check lambda sensor fits then send the exhaust off for coating and get the engine mounts powder coated..

Not too far but still got water pipes to sort out and the engine has to come back out to get the exhaust ceramic coated and the engine mounts powder coated too but we are getting there now 😎

Depending on what route we go really as the new loom is built for eight injectors, but there is 30% bigger GDI injectors available now and garry at apt has just had his engine on the dyno @ 385hp but that is a forged engine for reliability however SBD motorsport are testing a completely standard engine with some lovely bolt on bits ie a prototype jenvey inlet with additional 4 port injectors and that just made 353hp...
I'm just going to get it running first with the hybrid turbo ect so 300 ish for now 👍

Brilliant work. Have you done this kind of things before? Interested to know why you designed the top engine and gearbox mounts the way you have? I like them.

Parts look great, is it a ceramic coating? Would you give a ball park cost figure if you don't mind? I'm having a manifold and front pipe made for my zt escort.

Sure pal, we payed Ł537 quid for that whole lot, it was about Ł100 on the powder coated mounts and the rest for the ceramic...

I'm sure Sileck were recommended to me for when I need to get Syvecs or Life Racing. They do some really fancy motorsport looms, ŁŁŁŁŁs though!!
