Default Any Mk2 Focus ST engine converted sierras?

Had a look via google, closest I've see is a Volvo conversion and a couple of ST engined Fords but no Sierras..... Quite an intensive conversion because of the engine layout but not impossible, just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of any on their travels.

If people can fit straight 6 skyline engines in sierras i think the volvo 5 potter will fit.

Thanks for the info lads, looks like he's almost done and it's great to see someone has taken on the challenge to pull off something a little different with these old sierras. The sound of that engine with a decat and aftermarket exhaust is bloody fantastic let alone all the perks of it being a much more modern engine design.

*appreciate the tags, you're still following me then sadly I can assure you that this thread has absolutely nothing to do with my other project which has a rebuilt YB lying ready in the garage, so I hope this puts your mind at ease.

Looks nice and sung in the engine bay. Has the owner had to mod the bulk head for the engine to fit??

Costina, yes would be good to get the low down on it if you could mate. Mainly interested if he modded the shell in any way or just used custom engine mounts, what box it will run and the bell housing setup.

Main reason for this thread actually was that ST's are getting really cheap and it's only a matter of time before you see people doing this conversion on lots of Fords rather than messing about with old cossie engines and trying to turbo zetecs and the like, I also have a "spare" 3rd sierra sitting that I could do this with if I hang onto it, just thinking out loud really.

A mate picked up a 2007 2.5 S-Max a while back with some bent valves for £300
If you were to run one on management could be a even cheaper way of doing it as they seem to fetch a lot less than the ST's

Get it done Rog
