How did you go with rear arches?
Iv 9x18 on rear with no work done to arches but I'd like to replace 235 tyre for 245, hopefully get away with just trimming plastics

 

Nothing yet. Waiting for tires before I do modifications on the arches. Looks like it's impossible to get hold of 255/30r18, so the tire size will be 255/35r18 at the rear.

 

Are you running coilovers?
The rear wheels on mine are pretty close to coilovers... Wouldn't have thought any wider could be done!

 

With the AVO's I have today there is some space, but I dont know how it will be with new GAZ Gold. I supect them to have a larger diameter than the AVO's.

What ET are you running?

Yes he's had it for about 6 years roughly.he don't use it much these days but is all ready to use.I have got a 3dr which I have owned for about 5 years.

i rememeber a few boys from newport areas had 3drs aswell but aint seen them on here for ages,few lads from my way got saphs aswell an a fiesta 4x4 cosworth,

 

You are talking about Rob and Stretch I'm guessing. Rob's white 3dr and Stretch had a black 3dr. They both broke the cars for spares a good few years back, I haven't seen either of them since around 2008.
