Some of us are still modifying our Cosworths. Started mine in 1996 so 20 years to date. Only the engine survives of the Ford parts & Power up from 330 in 96 to 900+ in 2016. I leave how many are left or did you find in a barn to you guys im only interested in how fast it is.

I have owned mine for 21 years and as soon as i got it it had a stage 3 conversion and since then it has had many modifications and although its only 450 bhp, for a 2wd it goes well. I have never driven a standard one but have been told I would be very shocked at the difference in performance!
Its personal choice but a standard car would be of no interest to me either no matter how immaculate it was.
The thing I have always loved is the fact that from the outside it could just be a standard lowered one with 17" wheels with nothing to show how capable it is of humbling many much more modern, expensive "performance" cars.

I have to agree with quite a few of the above comments, I couldn't entertain a standard car, it would bore me silly. A nice little livener when you hit boost no matter what spec you have from 330 upwards in my opinion.

Drove my mates stage3 magenta 2wd before he sold it a few weeks ago and modern diesels feel more punchy and faster

Nice to see someone else who uses his cars all year round, nothing better on a cold, sunny, winters day to go for a blast and get your free extra bhp as well!!

That is a long time without using your car, have you had problems with it? It will be like driving a new car after that amount of time.

The guys at Tremona garage will do a good job for you, I have had a lot of modifications done by them on my 2wd Saff over the last 21 years I have owned it.
You must be looking forward to getting it sorted and back on the road after such a long time.

Mine is one of the last 2wd models made before they all went 4x4.

Lowered 35mm with Koni Front and Bilstein rear shocks with Eibach lowered springs..Custom made strut braces front and back.

Lots of mods, up to 450 bhp now. All neatly installed by Richard and Malcom at Tremona Garage.

Group A air box, T38 with billet compressor.

Hi- spec big brake conversion and old school OZ Chronos 17x7 wheels including the spare.
