Haha! I know what you mean. Decontaminating my Focus recently, I must have washed it about 5 times in between tar / iron detox applications etc.

One neighbour even asked my opinion on washing his car as he thought I did it for a living..

its done. thank fuck

got the C1 on, doesn't looks like it actually does anything tho

started to wax it and it fucking started to spit with rain, so I lashed the wax on the whole car, then went to buff off and I think I should have done a panel at a time as it was an effort to get it off, but its done

then as I started to vacuum the inside it cunted it down, but I carried on and just got a bit wet...

all that effort, BUT it does look bloody good lol. must have well over 20 hours in..

if anyone wants their car doing, ill do it from Ł250

Very nice!

At least with C1 on it, maintenance washes should be a doddle

Its that time of year again

The wheels look a bit shit at the mo, brake dust stuck on etc so i dont think the dlux was all that. And my lambs wool mitt has fallen apart.

I might order a few more bits this week, i still have some clay mitts, but need some clay bar to do the wheels, and a decent wheel sealer - what do people recommend?

Also need a new wash mitt, and some more tar remover. I still have loads of foam, bilberry wheel cleaner and shampoo left.

The paint still looks ok, few swirl marks have appeared but nothing like what it was before last years machine polish so not sure if ill machine it again as it was a right effort

Not sure how log the C1 lasts either, so if i did polish it again, what paint sealer is good?

Cheers chaps
