Thanks mate, and I totally agree, I would love a more unique set of wheels, and funny enough there is a lovely set of carbon wheels I really want, but haven't got a spare £20k to buy them right now lol

Update Time

Originally I set out 5 years ago to retrim & install the MK2 bench, but since then that seat has been done to death, and I always like to try and step it up & do something different from the norm.

So I managed to do just that..

Never been done before we have a complete " one off " Recaro MK3 Sculpted Rear Bench.

This matches the front Carbon Fibre Recaro CS Front seats perfectly..!

Trimmed in Alcantara & Bentley Beluga Nappa Leather & with a twin Blue stitch + MK1 RS Logo's.

Alcantara & Carbon Fibre Front Door Cards

WRC Super Lightweight Carbon Fibre Steering Wheel

Alcantara Tailgate & Lower Boot Trims/carpet trims/side trims

It was in a sorry state when I bought it, It had a crack and the carbon is also pretty poor, there was no lacquer on it, just some kind of wax.

so the wax was stripped and we fixed the crack, and then applied & built up 10 thin layers of gloss resin, with a flat and polish on various coats until we got it right.

It's not perfect, but it was the best we could do with it.

fitted the front Alcantara door cards and carbon fibre trims.!

And also test fitted the Carbon fibre shelf..

The interior is almost complete now, just a couple of more bespoke parts to go, and then that side of the build is done.!

Really pleased with how it's all turned out.

A few shots..
