It's a beautifully prepared car. I've seen it a few times before and always think it looks too good to be used for rallycross!

The Escort runs in the Belgium Championship, so chances are it won't be back in the UK again this year. There is another British round of the Championship at Lydden in August, and the World Championship is there next month!
Thanks, I will try to get along and take my daughter to get another generation hooked.
What I mean is, what the fuck is that. Wtf. How could a petrol turbo work well in a heavy 4x4 agricultural vehicle? The diesel unit that was put in it would have been far better suited so why do it....so the saying 'wtf' as in what the fuck....was invented for this. Do you get it now?

Haha not at all unfortunately. I'm getting a brand new company van in 2 weeks so I'm going to do something with this as it's really not worth anything to sell so hopefully be a little faster probably zetec it but not sure yet has been a good old van though so would be a shame to scrap it
Funny how 29 years ago can seem like a century. By then Anglia's and 100E's were already approaching 30 years + and RS2000's were just a few hundred squids.
Great pics...wish someone could invent a time machine
