Just under two years ago I bought this awesome little motor in order to work on for afew months before getting on the road. By the time came to drive it I had refurbished and painted all the suspention, fully polybushes it, the underside was undersealed , it had a 1.4 cvh with a cam in, a Ashley exhaust system , 40 MM lowering springs rsturbo recaro interior and afew other little bits and bobs, and it kinda stayed that way for the 8 months it was on the road for I'll get some photos up soon, after plenty of resurch I decided to take it off the road again for the inter to do some more restoration and attempt a zetec swap and not long into the build the project took a large change of direction when I decided after finding a fair amount of rust and many trips to Santa pod and brands hatch that I wanted a track car

This tread stars many months into the build so I will do as much catch up as possible for past work to the car but it's still a rolling chassis at the moment so it should be fairly easy,

After buying a mk2 mondeo as a donor I pulled out the blacktop 2'0l zetec and running gear and scrapped the rest, the escort got slowly stripped back to a rolling chassis befor work began,

Jumping to the Present the engine has been fitted test fired and removed and the car is now slowly being welded up ready to take to the bodyshop

The engine will be running on omex management and itb's,

The more astute among you will know the front wings are spot welded on, I am doing a bolt on wing conversion for easy replacement
