on the subject of rare cars, any body heard of a limited edition S2, apparently fitted with a 1900 block from the factory, twin deck rear spoiler (XR4i Style) and with gold badgings. RS1900?

Our kid saw one back in the day, 92/93 anbody else heard of these?

Sounds like a 'dealer special', most weren't 1900's at all but were stickered up as RS1900's with a Rattle Snake body kit, the rear spoiler looking similar to an XR4i one.....

 

There's an RS1900 in our April issue Due out next month.

It had the spoiler and the body kit and was made in limited numbers but it was a N/A 1900CVH under the bonnet

I'd never heard nor seen an rs1900 before the article in PF this month - did get me wondering about the truth of the article but the PF guys are usually no bullshitters, and its now evident that there were some made.

Mayby because they look so bad (IMO ) that no-ones really wanted to talk about them much.

I guess its as rare as a Mondeo RSi

 

I remember fitting a Rattlesnake bumper to my RS after seeing Max Power's RS Kicker. Oh the shame

Didn't the article claim the Rattlesnake kit was a copy of this cars kit?

Don't know whether this is true or not as I have no knowledge off these cars but the Performance Ford chaps rarely steer us wrong with their content

 

The Rattlesnake kit was a copy of the Fibresports one that came on the original RS1900 limited edition.
I saw the one in PF at Jamsport when it was being rebuilt, proper retro style

 

 

Whether its a legit RS or not you've been proved wrong!
