Hi guys,

I am currently looking into building or buying my own Series 1 4x4 cosworth, i was having a look at the german guys build on your site and it got me going again!

I have been wanting to do this since owning my first series one 10 years ago (c460 evm) if anyone happens to know where it is!

I have always talked about doing it but recently have made the decision to bite the bullet and get it done. I would appreciate any info if builders etc or any Series 1 4x4 cosworths for sale. I did talk to a guy years ago that built one that was in Performace Ford he did give me a price for a roll in roll out project but i think that i would prefer a little bit more input as i dont think that i will ever sell this car. (think his name was collins ???)

Would prefer to have someone fabricate the floor etc for me and i would build everything else etc. You know, source and fit all the panels, engine, suspension, brakes, interior.

I always thought it would be best to have a completly stock looking car but with a monster 4x4 underneath!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as its been a dream i have had for a long time and i dont want it to become one of those efforts that gets pushed to the back of the garage because the build isnt going well!

Right guys i am looking for a mk3 or early mk4 escort shell wanted for conversion,
As you can see it looks like the jobs going to get started so i really need a solid and i mean solid shell for this. Anybody know of any 3 door cars etc that have been owned by a granny for the past 20 years with 20k on them and their now looking to get rid of it?????? No ??? Well you know the score, let me know of anything floating about......
when you message me could you include what plate the car will be on? B/C plate etc.......To be honest I dont think I would want anything newer than an E plate, it would just look weird on a series 1. If the car has been welded at all. If theres any history etc.

you can just put an older looking plate on it mate or a private one
