I am struggling with my anglia I have a 2003 Ford focus st 170 with twin carbs running a MBE 9A4BI ecu I had a guy come and do the timing removed the vvt and timed he cut out the wiring has run new wires to the engine crank water etc I had a issue with the electric fuel pump so got a replacement and new spark plugs in all honesty he has hacked the old wiring to the extent it’s us cut it all off he got it turning over said get the plugs and pump and he will be back in stead he has gone on the missing list I have tried making sense of what he has done I have connected the fuel pump up and that’s wired to the ignition switch the car pops and bangs but doesn’t fire into life I have checked the firing order and the coil it’s as the manual just won’t run any help with this or somebody who nos about the ecu would be great I have contacted mbe but they said they only deal with the hardware on the wiring
