Liking that a lot, great work.

You put "drilled" above, and said you weren't sure of the English word?

I believe you mean "honed". Big drill in the cylinder?

nevsrevs 20-01-2014 06:50 PM

That spoiler is awesome! So guessing it raises and then slides out to increase its width?

Nath 21-01-2014 10:01 AM

little update,

started stripping the car,
Attachment 69842

Attachment 69843

then there was some little rust in the wheelcorners, took the metal away to find what was under it,
left.
Attachment 69844

right,
Attachment 69845

so that problem needs a little care :(

little update.

getting the car further stripped,
Attachment 69642

removed the softtop and a lot of interior parts,

Attachment 69643

Attachment 69644

and some progress on making the case for the rear spoiler, to make it watersealed and nice looking of course.
this is just the rough making, needs to be smoothed later

looking good, what are you doing with the engine? keeping the vvt?

PaulinhoT 23-01-2014 06:47 PM

I've had a couple of these, great little cars, and a nice looking project.

age miata 29-01-2014 08:59 AM

I got another head (bp4w) thats without vvt, the vvt engine got a better oil pump and nozzles that spray oil on the pistons, thats why i've bought a vvt engine and then got rid of the vvt.
Thanks for all the kind words.
Will update soon, got a little more work done
