Default Mondeo ST personalisation

Well, I thought it was about time i added some pics up of my ST and what I have been doing over the last few months.

I cant call it a mad project or rebuild, simply putting my own mark on the car as I go a long.

So anyway, heres how i bought her in September 2012 with 59000 miles on the clock

The car needed a really food clean and removal of swirl marks so i spent about 3 days getting her al freshened up. This was the cloth after a clay wax and then used dodo prime lime

Eventually got it looking like this with some great reflection shots

Engine bay was next

Final result

So, over the few months I have had her, led me to start thinking about what I wanted to do next with modest changes.
So along came the wheels,

Did a rolling road day with just a smoother airbox and hit 162bhp which is 7bhp over standard so not too bad but gives me a benchmark to work for

New badges

Painted the engine bay

Plasti-dipped the front grills

Cleaned all the arches of the car
Before

After

New stereo added

Decat fitted

And that’s where I am currently at. Next stages are

Window deflectors
Darker window tints
Focus St Asbo Discs and Pads
Stainless Exhaust System
Re-Map which I am hoping to get 195-200bhp from
And last expense and the most costly is the Hybrid stage 2 turbo

Yes she is touch wood. I have done 12700 miles since september and not had an issue. I had the MOT last week and went staright through and then serviced on wednesday last week.

I have some 40mm springs but not as yet had chance to fit them sadly. I am very pleased with it tbh, very torquey to drive- even more so now with the decat.

Anyway hows you pal? Ive not been on here much tbh as I reside on mondeo-stoc tbh..

Very nice mate, will look much better with the RS wheels. Will they need spacers on the mondeo like they do when you put them on a non RS focus?
