Just picked up this rather tasty 44,000 mile, 1.0 popular plus in ceramic blue. It's one of the first MKII models and is so original it doesn't even have a radio fitted! At some stage though someone has quite handily shoved a 1.6 efi in the engine bay for me. I bought it as a non runner with some tax and mot. It's away getting a wiring loom, fuel tank and pump and a few bits of welding. Keeping it fairly standard with plans for a 3 spoke steering wheel, recaro front seats, a decent suspension setup, wheels and a general tidy up. Going to run it as is for a while then stick it in the garage once an Escort sized space becomes available
