Best way to protect it is let it dry out thoroughly and cover the whole underside with waxoil inc all the cavities.

Right so its been awhile since i touched the old girl ive been busy with other stuff like jetsking and off roading, O and getting a new workshop.....
so after all that fun its back to the cosworth for the short time i got her in the workshop a couple of weeks ago to see what needed doing, i new in my heart of hearts it would need a alittle bit of welding like they all do so between me and a couple of mate we brought a 185 mig welder and got started. i will let the pics do most of the talking!!!! http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...3042012201.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...9042012237.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...6042012258.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...6042012259.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...6042012260.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...8042012292.jpg |
Thats the driverside here is the passanger side, not bad for only really been welding for the last 6 months!!!
http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...3042012204.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...6042012263.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...6042012265.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...8042012279.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...8042012282.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...8042012286.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...8042012287.jpg so i have a few more bits that i have found and while the carpet and everything is out i mite as well do it. I have tried my hardest to make sure you cant see then plates that i have fitted, me and my mates are pretty happy with how they have turned out. i will be doing more later or over the weekend so look out for the updates..... |
