cheers, no reason why it shouldn't, being built with realistic power, not going crazy FWD. will eventually get LSD too, loved it in my old car. just a case of getting some funds together!

still standard i presume, aint been mapped yet so obviously not getting the full potential from the mods
Exhaust is on, sounds just right! nice deep grumble similar to that of an s3, not intrusive, and still quiet in the car!. Performance wise it feels better through the midrange, the cat was probably choking the turbo a bit mind. Will get some underneath shots when i can, quality is perfect! can'y thank jeff at pipewerx enough!

Managed to squeeze the s3 maf into the K03s TIP with some gentle persuasion....took me about 2 hours of wrestling with a bit of heat, a file and some lube to get it in mind!
bought a few clamps for here and there, mainly where the maf goes in, dont trust the jubilee clips i have, and its a bitch finding them so big and the shape deforms etc so got some of these
stuff from forge turned up too, so will bin off the secondary air system when i get a chance!

removed some more uneeded stuff from under the bonnet, all simplified with a pipe from the dumpvalve to the inlet. going to order a newsouth inlet gasket to stop it transfering heat from the head too. whilst i have the inlet off think i'll be painting it crackle black, thats the theme ill be going for under the bonnet me thinks with a few other things to match.
put resistors in place of the sensors and no codes as of yet

Turbo has been collected today by CR turbos, should be back by next weekend hopefully. Will get it bolted on asap.
also ordered a Newsouth inlet gasket, stops heat transfer to the inlet to give lower inlet temps, have heard good things about them and a member was selling one cheaper so thought what the hell, inlets coming off for a lick of paint either way so!

Stubby aerial, reception is crap but don't listen to stereo anyhow...
de-wipered the rear, never used it anyhow
had it on the rollers today too
graph...
nice base to go from for future mods, which by the way has started, turbo is at CR being hybrided
borrowed some signs aswell in typical scouse fashion....

Didn't get chance to take many pictures with the turbo off, focus was on getting it done.
Turbo off
bolted back on exactly as the old one came off. Haven't fitted injectors till it gets mapped so i can drive down. Had a run locally to chack for leaks and so far so good, not getting mapped till next week so i can make 100% sure everything is right. Boosts a little higher due to garrett actuator so i haven't been driving as normal, last thing i want is a melted piston. spool up is slightly louder on the new one due to it being unsilenced but nothing major.

Decided to tidy up behind the plate today, rather than having wonky holes decided to go for one big one.... angle grinder and a file...came out pretty well i think, will be hidden by the plate and only taken off for track etc so not majorly fussed, may even try a smaller plate offset and open it up a bit more...
Engine cover needs modding to clear the dump valve...but heres the engine bay so far
Modified recess in front with no plate
and how she sits

Was a long day yesterday, Up at 430 to get to Jabbasport in peterborough for 9am from liverpool.
wakey wakey
Average MPG on way

light entertainemt on the way
Figures
MPG way home....
Fly fest
End time
Modified the plastic cover to fit over the dumpvalve too
Overall really happy with the figures, drives like a totally different car. under 3k drives as it did and returns good mpg. then over 3k to 7400 (raised the rev limiter) pulls so hard and sounds mental. Grips really well in the dry too which is what i was after, useless power if it only spins up. Boost is at 1.4 then settles to about 1.2
Big thanks to Jabbasport for mapping it, bunch of friendly guys, great premises too. Sorry no pics on the rollers as they dont let public in there i presume for health and safety.
Spec list is as follows
Octavia VRS
K03s hybrid (CR turbos) with garrett actuator
Forge front mount intercooler
Pipewerx turbo back 2.5" system.
Bosch green injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Derestricted air box with pipercross filter
Forge 007p
Silicone TIP
N75 and other crap removed
S3 maf
Modified crash bar and bumper
Next things to come with be ARBs porsche brakes as i dont think these will be up to track abuse and possibly some coilover....we'll see

Few last pics of it on the BBS rims, yup they look good on the car but just been fancying a change of styles, have lots of people already interested in the wheels with a provisional sale already so no point asking.
LCR splitter fitted too to change the front a bit.
peak at new rims, some people will already know what they are...
New wheel bolts expected during the week so wheels should be fitted for the weekend, would have been on now but FK decided to send me the wrong ones....buggers.

Firstly....i am aware it needs more lows, coilovers are the next purcahse. And yes the old wheels did look great but i felt it was time for a change. All opinions welcome as always.
