As you gyes know who have done this kind of thing that you spend hours and hours cutting, spot weld drilling and every thing else that comes along with the job but it will be worth it i think .

so how far along are you?

After striping both shells it was time to brace the escort shell up by welding box section in strenthing places,http://s684.photobucket.com/albums/v...SP_A0146-1.jpg

Im building the car along side steve at amagineering motorsport in stoke on trent so he does all the technical stuff and i do the easy bits :clap:,after a lot of welding we then cut and spotweld drilled the rear section floor out of the sapphirehttp://s684.photobucket.com/albums/v...th_Bobtail.jpg

Then it was time to take the rear turret sections out by again bloody spotweld drilling:wall: lol

Looks mad steve loved doin this bit :( i was shitin my self but he knows what hes doing so i have every faith.....

Just to the point of puttin the rear floor section in with the cosworth back beam attached in got that bit done to day comin on a treat :0

hey geoff, jus wondered how did u go bout ur conversion, all fabricated or sierra floor? also did u do it or get a firm in,, cheers. iv seen ur car at many shows n in the mags, lovely motor!

hello there people i jus bought a 4door mk3 escort 1983 i wanted to convert this into a rwd cossie if anyone can help me find someone who is willing to take this on please please please let me no im willing to work with you even nights i have to im a ford fanatic loved them since the day i was born so please let me no if there's anyone out there willing to help will much appreciate it.
