Had a good afternoons work on it today. After discussions with Marco and Martoon, i needed to remove my rear bump stops as they aren't needed with the coilovers. So after a slight accident with the grinder and a brake pipe i decided to make things a bit easier by removing the rear beam assembly complete.
Beam off in garage
Having toyed with the idea of removing the spare wheel well/boot floor and flat panelling it to enable me to fit a Pro-Alloy fuel tank i had a moment of weakness
Where's that gone
Oh there it is
Went to local panel supplier and bought some 22swg steel plate to cover the hole over. A detour to my mates workshop to use his guillotine to cut it to size and shape. Just need abit of trimming to get it to fit snugly against rear panel.
Went inside to get a drink and came out to find a pikey in my boot
So car currently like this after a good wash off ready to be finished off tomorrow. Got to weld boot floor panel in and a small patch on the chassis rail ( )
My adjustable beam should be ready soon as well Can't wait to have a car that handles

What the hell kind of pipe is that holding up the other side of the car to the Axle stand in that last pic
Looking good fella, It was only a matter of time before you started taking it apart again
Who is that funny little man in the boot? He does look familiar.........
Although he does look like he's had his legs edited into the picture (perhaps to make him look taller )

Oh yeah baby
But having read JJ's thread and listening to Martooon he says to have an open front diff in the thickwall casing as the ATB tends to push the front on But as Mike has run ATBs front and rear( ) no problem i will try them then make my OWN decision
