great looking bikes, brings back loads of memories..

I had the skyway burner which was blue and yellow but with 7 spoke wheels not 5 as the one above..

I am currently looking for a BMX for my son but I think I'll buy one of me and let him use it...

I thought it was the freezer. Either way, I don't know anyone who ever tried it! I also don't now anyone who bent the 'spokes' either come to think of it.

It was the freezer and I had mates that claimed at the time it worked. I was young and had no idea to question them so it could well have been bullshit.

Just like they could get 6ft of air off the quarterpipe.

I had a mustang mountain bike too and used to polish the crap out of it - even down to using fine sandpaper on the spokes to make them bling in the sunlight

until some wanker nicked it from the school bike sheds on my 17th b-day

My bro had this one

Heres a few others from that era

Rayleigh Boxer

Grifter

Chopper

And I'm still trying to find the black BMX, I think it was a Rayleigh, that had the black box that made all those funky noises, does anyone remember what it was called?

Here you go - this is my bike - I have owned it for 19 years first pic is how it was after 17 years and second is now.

I rebuilt it as I joined RADBMX ( best site for old skool BMX )

I also ride a new skool bike too... and when I go out to play I usually ride with a lot of old skool pro's or 90's pro's...

Good crack

Quite a few years back I aqquired a collection of Choppers from a guy who owned a bike shop I worked at, I had 5/6 in total and they were all different, from memory this is what I had.......

Mk1 Original
Mk2 SE (Cast Mags) - RARE as fuck apparently!
Chipper (Small Chopper)
Chocker - I thInk?!
Tomohawk

I let them all go for next to nothing in a ridiculous move to fund some sort of night out!

One of my biggest regrets/mistakes so far! I think I sold the mk2 SE for Ł40!

Needless to say, i didnt keep the fucker!

Meh, I'm 24 and this is MY oldskool. The bike i dreamed about when i was 13. A mate pulled this out of a skip about 4 years ago and i had it powder coated and built it up. I'm still looking for a sticker set for it though.

its a 1999 HARO Blammo.
