Copper tubing is very susceptible to work-hardening and becomes extremely brittle when flexed past a certain point. It can fail unexpectedly and catastrophically, typically at flared unions.

 

Never ever ever heard of this, it's common practice to use copper brake lines under a car.

 

Not here in the colonies, I guess.

 

Copper brake pipes are a common replacement here.

Never heard of any problems at all using copper for brake pipes.

Every mechanic I know including me uses copper to make brake pipes.

Perfectly safe IMO.

hi, i would of thought that if your changing colour any diamond white would be ok,
do you have a local ford main dealer, ask in the parts department, or try any decent bodyshop, good luck
