Right guys this is starting to pee me off.
4 different browsers on a MAC so it isnt a operating system issue and the is site is getting slower by the day.
I mean i cant scroll down when i open the page as its still loading.
Never been like this before so i really dont understand why it is all of a sudden.
It isnt a connection problem as its 16meg.
I just dont get it.

FROFL @ Rick's "subliminal" ad
Yeah, horribly bad loading for me, has been for a couple days too. It just sits there doing feck all for a while before even attempting to load, then when it does it's like dial up, and as mentioned, you can't scroll etc untill it's done.
Same result using Safari, FireFox, and IE7 on two different machines. No other forums I use have this problem.
It's SO slow to load that on my iPhone I keep getting time out errors, where it's taken so long for the server to recieve and acknowledge the request and facilitate it, that the request times out!

Seems strange considering it's fine on other popular forums. Look at my ping data. That doesn't point to an ISP related issue at all, seems more like a peak traffic related issue which is server related?

I call bullshit on their opinion of it being an ISP related issue, multiple people on multiple ISP's all experiencing the same issue but only with Internet Brands websites.
See my ping results below, notice scoobynet and passionford both have poor pingbacks.

So bad for me. I always hold back from posting on these threads as I feel I don't really contribute much to the forum, but fuck me, it's hardly bearable. That's why I've hardly used PF for the past few weeks.

They'd soon be fucked if people stopped buying gold membership.
I've seen enough of Johnny B's Mrs so I don't think I'll be renewing mine.

I don't know what to tell you all. We aren't able to figure out the issue. We have been informed by a member on ScoobyNet that one of the IB owned forum sites works swimmingly in the UK however.
This was told to us yesterday, and I've instructed the people I report to, to find out what it is that's different about that particular sites set up as compared to PF & SN.
Hopefully this investigation yields us some useful results that lead to a solution for your speed issues.
Believe me, if we could flip a switch and make the issues disappear, we surely would.
cheers,
robb

10 secs would be nice - it took best part of a minute to load up this thread, and whilst it loads you can't scroll to the bottom or anything
As others have said, it's ONLY this site that is the problem - I use 4 other forums and don't get this problem, nor with Google, or Youtube, etc. And it's not my ISP, as it does the same on my iPhone also
