Mk3 mondeo, pre face-lift, occupancy sensor issues
Hi, this is my first post but I have been a long time visitor. Just sort of looking from the sidelines.
I have a 2003 pre face-lift mk3 mondeo.
the problem is with the passenger seat occupancy sensor, it's the only thing stopping it passing it's mot.
I have bought a new sensor yet still have the same problem, code 16 flashing on the dash and diagnostic also confirmed seat occupancy sensor.
is there anyway around this? Is there an emulator available? Can I put a resistor in place?
it's really doing my head in now as I have already ran out of the 14 days for a retest and now have to pay for another full mot.
any ideas?
