Default lowering an escort van

Wile my rs turbo is off the road iv got myself an escort van, just wondered how ud lower it on the rear with the leaf springs?

if its mk6, you simply put the axle on top of the springs. i belive all the original clamps can be used just flipped

A quick search on this forum will bring you up a 'how to' thread, I'm sure. I wouldn't advise simply using the existing brackets upside down though, they were never designed to take any kind of load, just hold the axle straight. People generally make themselves a simple bracket up, which can take the weight.
