Hiya everyone!!

I'm new here, and i need some help with a project im starting when it arrives from ebay it's a 1/18 bmw 325i convertible and i want to create a bodykit on it but i don't know what the best material is to do this??

If anyone can help me out it would be very much appreciated.

Milliput's about the best thing mate, its a two part putty and you can get it on eBay for about Ł2. Or body filler.

Orite sounds like the best option to me then.

I've just recieved the model from ebay topday and im realy looking foward to startin the project now, i just need to get some seats, an exhaust and a spoiler as i have already got the wheels sorted. I was thinking of turning it into a convertible replica of the m3 gtr as i have not seen any of these any where in convertible form! Let me know what you all think of the idea?? I will also be posting some pics of the model up later on today before i get started on it.

m3 gtr cab sounds good,
keep us posted on your progress.
i have a gtr style rear spoiler. i can try and make a resin one.

 

sure does thats what im planning anywhere, i've made a start by removing the door n bumper trim already and i'va also put a nitrous bottle from 1 of my other models in the boot already. I,ll be putting some pics up of my collection shortly and some of the bimmer.

 

All my pics are now on photobucket under the username speedy2010_2010 for anyone who wants to have a look?? and if anyone has any ideas on how the bimmer should look then feel free to let me know!! and i am also looking for ideas for the red 1/18 dodge viper rt-10 if anyone has any??
