I want to do mine as well and I have heard prices ranging from £400 for a quick few hours and test to £800+ for 10+ hours then test,

I did my 7.5 ton test a couple of years ago and was told the trailer test is exactly the same but with a trailer towed by suitable large vehicle

I was told it was straight forward not too technical.
Is it true that if you have a class 1 licence (articulated vehicle) you are exempt from needing a B+E (car and trailer? Can anyone cinfirm this?

It doesn't matter whether the van is full or empty, it's the capacity of the van that sets the rules.
