Since upgrading to 3.0, my app list has shortened, but here goes....

Rating: 10/10 (impossible to do without!)

Rating: 7/10 - Shame it has to be on SpringBoard rather then hidden away.

Rating: 9/10 - Helps to switch off when using things like BBC iPlayer!

Purpose: Proper SatNav app. Turn-by-Turn with voice and lane assist. etc
Rating: 10/10 Saved me £50+ being cracked and beats all iphone satnavs to date!

Another app i used to use alot was openssh which allowed you to enter the phones memory storage and change things while on the PC. That was from Cydia/ICY.

yep i have done just that Marts, i even went get "navigon" but when i saw it was 150meg i didnt fancy waiting, i might get it over wifi instead.


Incidentally, the poi lite x2 is so that they can check each other, that way i know im legal

Marts - get rid of BossPrefs - it's out dated and discontinued. Download SBSETTINGS instead. It's the BossPrefs replacement, and doesn't use a spring board icon. You swipe the status bar (either on springboard, or in an app) and it drops down;



I can't be arsed to list AppStore apps - I've got loads and they are easily findable

Some of the Jailbreak apps I have installed that are usefull; (all from Cydia)

WINTERBOARD - used for applying themes and visual changes to the phone

CALLFORWADING - Removes the annoying "call forwarding" bubble T-Mobile users get when making calls

WEATHERICON - Changes the stock weather icon to show real time weather and temperature

MXTUBE - Allows downloading and saving of YouTube video's, aswell as allowing streaming over the 2G network (which YouTube can't do, only 3G or wifi)

STATUSNOTIFIER - adds icons to the status bar when new mail, mms, sms, missed call are recieved

SAFARI TAB CLOSER - allows you to close all tabs in Safari with one button

SWIRLYMMS2 - MMS for iPhone 2G

Rest of the stuff is just tweaks, themes, etc etc. A cool one is "PERCENTAGE BATTERY" which looks exactly like the normal battery (on the lockscreen, when charging) but shows a percentage in numbers;



One I'm missing tho is "NOTIFIER WIDGET", which was an extension for STATUSNOTIFIER, and added text to the lockscreen;


(not my phone, but the Status Notifier icons are up top in the status bar, and the text on the screen is the Notifier Widget)

For some reason, it's still not been updated for 3.0 yet

Oh, and LOCK CALENDAR - shows events in your iPhone Cal app on the lockscreen. Very customisable (number of days events showing, font style, size, colour, etc etc) Couldn't live without this as I am AWFUL at remembering things! Having that show me whats what means I don't forget birthdays, meetings/events, buying a lottery ticket

I am using SBSettings mate. Only reason I had BossPrefs installed is because SBSettings didn't have a toggle for the Safari Downloader, where BossPrefs did. Now SBSettings has that toggle, BossPrefs is gone

I downloaded a .PDF reader/downloader today from Installous. Now I have the Escort RS Turbo Haynes manual on my iPhone

Didn't think much of that weathericon app... Only the number changed?? They could have made it so the sun changed to rain, or whatever the weather app said. Also can't seem to get the lock calendar to show an appointment happening on Monday. I got it set to a week. I'm guessing it simply gives a weeks notice, not Shown on screen for whole week?

That call forwarding one is a beaut - always annoyed me that.

In case anyone else needs it you need to add c.ifon1.no as a source in Cydia then install the app, close Cydia and reboot the phone!

My own one Search Cydia for "MAC BACKGROUNDS" - it's a springboard theme I made with 17 different backgrounds that randomly change every 8 seconds. Also has the dock seen in my screen shot. "MAC BACKGROUNDS LITE" is slimmed down - 8 or 9 backgrounds and no dock

I also have another hosted on Cydia called MAC WALLPAPERS, which is a wallpaper file that downloads into your SETTINGS>WALLPAPER>WALLPAPER menu with another bunch of images to use on your lockscreen or springboard (if you apply USER WALLPAPER in Winterboard)

A must is pkgbackup - my phone shat itself today and had to do a full restore but after that re-sync, put pkgbackup back on, run it's restore and all of my jailbreak'd apps, settings and data were back as well (it now stores them all within the iTunes backup

A good site for cracked apps is www.appulo.us .very slow sometimes but all apps on there.have tomtom and copilot on phone.mixface is a real laugh,
in cydia do a search for absolute ford battery,changes slider logo to a ford badge.you need winterboard installed.

oh and for anyone who has terminal and openssh installed make sure u change your password.

upto 8 pages of apps at the moment and still growing lol

www.blackra1n.com is the easiest programme about.download it to pc.install,connect phone open programme and click make it rain.2 mins and its done
then open blackra1n on phone.install cydia and rock then go into cydia and install appsync.will allow cracked apps to be installed using itunes

told u it easy.easiest jailbreaking software about.as i said,check out itunes for apps then search appulo.us for the full app.plus tons of apps and fun things on cydia.ive got a lovely carbon background behind the apps.i used bosspaper for that which u will find on cydia


word of warning,theres plenty of apps on cydia for programming etc,if unsure dont install it and google it first

go into blackrain on your phone,it will then come up with cydia and give u option to download and install it.after thats done u will need to google the way of downloading all sources where u can find apps as its a bit long winded on here.basically u download a program then one called all sources and it will find u all cydia apps around the world which u would never find on app store

Didnt know there was so much to downlaod and really open up the phone, that 3g anywhere thing is real cool

I downloaded the call of duty zombie thing and cant stop fucking playing it lol, downloaded the tomtom uk as well witch is good cos its like 70 odds to buy or something

Tryed to download the dynolicous thing for your car but kept saying i was timed out or the link was borken or something, damn i really wanted that too
