luke have you seen much of tonys big block v8 capri i saw it once think it made around 400hp under 4000rpm on the jkm rollers not seen it for while so sure it should be making over 1000hp by now
Colin its very difficult to compare AVA wheels figs to DD ones.
from what I can gather any car that has been ran on AVA will see a lower wheel fig to a DD but will probably get a fly fig higher than you might expect.

He would be better off handing the keys to Jim and letting them sort it for him. At present its about the same power as it was before

Doesn't the car sit at funny angle on those rollers though.
Thanks for the nice comments guys
I'm still buzzing from the experience even now
As well as Mark Shead's great engine build and mappingI would also like to acknowledge the great work done to the car by JKM Performance in Portsmouth who handled virtually the entire build. Thanks Jim (and Keith) you did me proud!!
ps.The above credit is not an advert, after all we've been through with the Capri they never want to see another old Ford ever again!!!!!!

What axle setup are you running? Im doing a yb capri atm and have an atlas with quaife lsd and shafts (t34, grey ect.) and I dont know if its man enough for the job?
p.s well done, very nice.
Loader,your axle should be fine
Mine survived 170 1/4 mile blasts at well over 300bhp and so far so good with the new engine, with just uprated shafts and a tightened up diff
Actually standard shafts were fine until I fitted sticky track day tyres

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3ZFexeqEaQso this was done on an engine dyno and r/r and made same power ? so this is genuine proof that in your car you have exactly 17 % trans losses proven buy r/r and engine dyno.

well done nick makes all the work worth while
i hear you had a panic on the night before
The figure recorded on the Norris dyno, was this 3bhp more or 3bhp less
More importantly, what about the difference in torque recorded on the two?

, I just spent all day on mine and it looks so scruffy and untidy in comparison.lol.
