after sales care IN STORE is good,terrible by phone, they have some new handsets which are good, nokia N70 (tomtom compatible) and motorola V3 razr 
i found an offer in carphone warehouse, 12 months half price line rental, which means i've had 1 cheque for Ł135 back and am due another soon
750mins for Ł35 p/month is WAY ahead of the other networks and now the handsets are better there's not much to go wrong, i always have good signal where i live too

Not sure on O2 Andy, would think their abit better than 3 but i've not really heard much about them 
If you want my advice then go with good old Vodafone, now they've fucked Singlepoint off who were absolutely fookin awful, their pretty good all round IMO, not the cheapest but it's only a couple of quid a month and I never lose signal round here! HTH

I was with O2 for 7 years and then gave in to a marketing call from 3.
I have been with 3 for a few months now and have had no problems what-so-ever and their customer service team are a damn sight more polite than the O2 lot!
With O2 i was getting 400 mins and 50 texts for 40 quid a month
With 3 i got a new phone , 750 mins to any network and 150 texts for 20 quid a month
My wife got a 3 phone about 12 months ago and the coverage was a bit iffy then but she has had no problems in that respect for a long time hence me getting one!
