Gf's mum is trying to get one for her son, but where she had it ordered, said now they cant get them in time for xmas, but ebay seems to have loads...

whats the difference between versions, cos im seeing like V1.0 - V.1.5 and V.2.0

im assuming the 2.0 ones are better?

I been EVERYWHERE for a single pack at 179 couldnt find one anywhere, so ended up paying £250 for one with 2 games for the fella....

1.0 upto 1.5 can run homebrew stuff (basically you can run games from memorystick

2.0 can be downgraded to 1.5 so you can do the same

2.5 your shafted.. at present this cannot be downgraded and will only run UMD games

and the only game so far i cant run from memorystick is GTA as it uses movie codecs that are only on 2.0 and above
