My understanding is that the 1600 duratec ti-vct engine is essentially a sigma engine. Just wondered if anyone has fitted one in a mk5 fiesta?
I believe there is 130bhp version available in a Mondeo, the appealing thing to me over the old 1.7 puma lump is that these can be had with very low mileage and from donor vehicles only a few years old. Im assuming management will be a problem.
Tell me the downside.......

I've seen a pic of a mk5 fiesta with one of these engines in on Instagram. I will have to try and find it.
there was also a blue mk5 fiesta zetec s on eBay with the 1.6 turbo engine out of the new fiestas sts a few weeks back.

Ti-vct is what's in our lasses fiesta. 120hp,all down to the vvt I think. Basic engine looks identical to the older ones. And I have the turbo version in my mondeo, the same as the fiesta st.
