No mate only games and works on about 90% of them.

I've got one and i think it's the mutts nuts

The games load faster and i have a 200Gb harddrive which can store between 40-50 games

You cant use it with the new 'thin' PS2 though

no mate, hdloader has to have the hdloader disk in.

if u have a film in there, it will just play the film.

im guessing mr cossie has HDAdvance which allows upto 200gb hd's, i have hdloader and only allows up to 120gb.

Yup i got HDadvance version 2.0 so i can use the 200Gb HDrive .

The new one (2.1) can support upto 400Gb

This is a link to the Hdrive i bought for mine and it works fine (Out of stock at the moment though )

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=78241

You will also need a network adapter which i got from ->

www.play.com

I think the whole setup cost about Ł120 which is well worth it when you think you can get your mate to bring a game round, copy it onto your hard drive and play the game using that (coz it loads quicker ) But you must remember to delete the game when your friend leaves coz it would be very naughty to keep it on your hard drive and not have a real copy of the game to hand

HTH
