help
, I changed the clutch in my 2wd sapph yesterday, and as its running a paddle clutch, the old one fooked the flywheel when it died, so i had the face skimmed to get it flat again. Now, the flywheel had already been lightened and balanced, and they took quite a lot off it to get it flat again. Now, the car is running 803's, 3bar etc T34 rs500 cooler,bd14's and has a well ported head, and 7.8-1. It made 370bhp and 350lbs/ft on the rollers, and normally drives superbly, really responsive and quick, but since doing the clutch/flywheel flatting, it seems to have lost LOADS, and I mean LOADS of torque
, normally, when you squeeze the throttle, at about 5psi the car rockets forwards, and you don't need to rev it hard to make good progress, but now I've really got to cane it to make it go anywhere
, it holds 20psi, and dosn't seem to have lost much top end, but it just feels flat everywhere
so, people in the know, is this due to:
1) too light a flywheel
2) fault- ie split actuator/ dump valve diaphragm, map sensor
3) just getting used to the power after 3 weeks
any advice greatly recived
make my car fast again

was your other clutch sliping befor as that could of been slipping a littel so througing it high into the rev range and ther for you dint feel like you was ranging it hard but were as now you have to rev it hard befor you get any powere down coz your clutch is no longer sliping or maybe youve over looked some thing does it still boost the same as befor. 20 psi you should be running 22/23 psi
